Gardener’s Market at Junkyard

Got too many tomatoes? More zucchini than you know what to do with? We’ve got the perfect solution! Join us for our Gardener’s Market, a community-style event where homegrown produce and baked goods find new homes and all for a great cause!

Here’s how it works:

It’s like a farmer’s market, but instead of selling your homegrown produce, we’ll be accepting free-will cash donations from anyone who wants to take produce home with them! All donations will go to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry.

Drop Off: Bring your extra garden produce or homemade baked goods to Junkyard at 4 PM. (Running late? No worries—come anytime and we’ll get you set up!). You do not need to stay for the full event unless you want to!
Market Opens: At 5 PM, everything will be available for the community in a pay-what-you-can market. We’ll be accepting free-will cash donations in exchange for whatever produce you want to take home.
For a Cause: 100% of proceeds go directly to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry. Any leftover produce and baked goods will also be donated.

You don’t need to bring produce to participate—everyone is welcome to shop, support, and give back. This is not a market for profit, but a chance to share the abundance of our gardens!
