Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization that works with food distribution partners who stay with communities for the long haul—helping them move from short-term relief to sustainable development.

Junkyard Coat Drive — December 8–14

We’re collecting winter gear to help keep our community warm this season!

Drop off your coats, mittens, hats, blankets, boots, and other winter essentials in the taproom December 8–14. All donated items will be given to local nonprofits in need to support our neighbors through the cold months.

Swing by for a beer, bring some warmth, and help us spread a little extra comfort this winter. Cheers!

Join us for a fun-filled evening as we celebrate winter sports and support the Fargo Moorhead Trailbuilders, the dedicated volunteers behind the development, maintenance, and snow grooming of mountain bike trails in the FM area!

Here’s what you can expect:

Learn about fat-biking, snowshoeing, and skiing opportunities in our local parks, along with some helpful trail etiquette.
Drink Beer, Do Good – $1 from every pint (or every two half-pints) will be donated to the Fargo Moorhead Trailbuilders!
Active Participation – Ride your bike, ski, or snowshoe to the event to show your support!
Food by Bourbon and Bones Que – (Free will donation!) Pulled pork sandwiches smoked to perfection, along with baked mac and cheese, chips, and cookies! (Let us know if you'd like to see slaw or pickles added to the menu.) Suggested donation $10 per person!

Sculpt & Sip: Christmas Tree Pottery Class at Junkyard Brewing

Tuesday, November 18 | 6:00–7:00 PM | Junkyard Brewing Co.

We’re teaming up once again with Rising Dawn Ceramics for a fun and beginner-friendly pottery night at the brewery!

In this hands-on class, you’ll sculpt and carve your very own clay Christmas tree while enjoying a pint of Junkyard beer (included with your ticket!). You’ll learn how to build your tree, add unique textures, and even poke holes if you’d like it to light up with a tea candle.

After class, Kelsey from Rising Dawn Ceramics will take your creations back to her studio for glazing and firing. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup on November 29 between 10 AM and 3 PM at 307 Main Ave S, Fargo. (If you can’t make that date, don’t worry—alternate pickup arrangements can be made!)

Spots are limited, so grab your ticket early and come get creative with us!

Local historian Markus Krueger (Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County) will take us through one of Fargo’s strangest true stories — the tale of the “Bat Man” who met his end right here in 1938.

Gardener’s Market at Junkyard

Got too many tomatoes? More zucchini than you know what to do with? We’ve got the perfect solution! Join us for our Gardener’s Market, a community-style event where homegrown produce and baked goods find new homes and all for a great cause!

Here’s how it works:

It’s like a farmer’s market, but instead of selling your homegrown produce, we’ll be accepting free-will cash donations from anyone who wants to take produce home with them! All donations will go to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry.

Drop Off: Bring your extra garden produce or homemade baked goods to Junkyard at 4 PM. (Running late? No worries—come anytime and we’ll get you set up!). You do not need to stay for the full event unless you want to!
Market Opens: At 5 PM, everything will be available for the community in a pay-what-you-can market. We’ll be accepting free-will cash donations in exchange for whatever produce you want to take home.
For a Cause: 100% of proceeds go directly to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry. Any leftover produce and baked goods will also be donated.

You don’t need to bring produce to participate—everyone is welcome to shop, support, and give back. This is not a market for profit, but a chance to share the abundance of our gardens!

Join us for a fun and beginner friendly pottery class with Rising Dawn Ceramics on September 25th from 630-730pm where you'll sculpt and decorate two dip bowls while enjoying a Junkyard brew! (each ticket includes one pint of beer)

In this class, Rising Dawn will guide you through the process of pinch pots to create 2 dip bowls. Then you will decorate the bowls with your favorite Junktoberfest designs (or not!)

Once your work is sculpted, Kelsey from Rising Dawn Ceramics will bring it back to the pottery studio for a clear dip and firing. Then, on October 11th swing by 307 Main Ave S in Fargo from 10 AM to 3 PM to pick up your finished bowls! Pick ups can also be arranged for a later date if you are unavailable on the 11th.
