Bottle Release Announcement
If we were playing chess, we'd be saying βcheckmate!β For the first time ever, we are releasing bottles of Barrel Aged Queen Size, side by side with her hubby, the king of barrel aged imperial peanut stouts, King Size! To complete this winning move, we're also releasing bottles of Barrel Aged Mega Munchies and Appropriate Moment!
The Bottles:

Draped in a robe of melted chocolate and gooey peanut butter, Barrel Aged King Size wears its barrel aging like a crown. These bottles are bursting with big, lively barrel notes that will leave you wondering how we could have possibly squeezed this much whiskey flavor out of our Willet rye whiskey barrels.

Sitting on a throne made out of whiskey barrels, chocolate, and peanut butter, Barrel Aged Queen Size wears a robe made of marshmallow fluff. This batch of Queen Size was aged in Willet rye whiskey barrels just like King Size, but the addition of marshmallow makes Queen Size extra special.

You all loved βThe Munchiesβ (candy bar stout) so much that we decided to level up this snack-attack beer, so we added even more Snickers candy bars and gave this imperial stout a dunk into some Willet rye whiskey barrels! This is no standard-edition attack of The Munchies, it's MEGA MUNCHIES!

Picking the perfect time to release a mixed culture sour is a tricky thing, because these beers are constantly changing, evolving into something new, and you never know what new flavors or nuances will develop with time. Appropriate Moment is a fruited mixed culture sour aged with peach, blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry and vanilla. It pours a beautiful ruby color and showcases a tart and complex bouquet of fruit and berry flavors. This beer is the result of blending several beers during a mixed culture aging process, including a portion of a batch of our Super Slush, so for anyone allergic to lactose, we need to let you know that there may be a small amount of lactose remaining in this beer.

There will be around 300 bottles of each variety available.
Normally we would be hosting the Rare Beer Picnic the weekend of this bottle release, but like many festivals, the RBP has been on hiatus due to the Covid pandemic, and we plan to bring it back in the summer of 2022. This year, instead of hosting the RBP, we decided to put on this big bottle release and host a βMini-RBPβ at our taproom. We'll be tapping rare beers from our secret stash all weekend. So if you come to town for the bottle release, plan on sticking around to see what's happening at the taproom!
